Our experts have taken the guess work out of creating a chain splice kit for your snowcat. We include to lengths of chain with quick links and appropriate sized cable to replace broken lacing bolts. Most track failures occur at the connector lacing due to worn, rusted or sheared bolts. This kit will allow for expedient field repairs and works on every snowcat with connector lacing or belt failure including, Piston Bully, LMC, Bombardier, or similar models with belted track systems including older Tucker models with belted track systems. Simply replace a sheared bolt with the appropriate sized cable and resume normal operations. If the failure occurs due to failure of the connector lacing or belt simply use the chains to loop a the two nearest grouser bars and return safely to your starting point.
