A solid contender for mechanical progress capture the Pro Traxion by Petzl is designed to carry heavy loads thanks to its large diameter aluminum sheave mounted on sealed all bearings. Thanks to the lower mounting hole this block can be used to create different haul systems. The toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under any condition and functions well on frozen or dirty ropes. A tab included with the toothed cam allows this block to be used as a standard pulley simply by locking the progress capture in the raised position.
