Self-retracting lifelines are multipurpose devices that feature a braking system similar to the device found in automotive seatbelts. SRLs are commonly used to restrict users from being exposed to a fall hazard or as a component in a fall arrest system. Available in 7 and 16 foot versions the Buck Limiter Self-Retracting Lifeline from Buckingham Manufacturing is lightweight and offers smooth consistent braking.

Thanks to the use of advanced materials these SRLs are a scant 1.9lbs. for the 7ft. long version and 4.9lbs for the 16ft. model! High-tech construction includes; aluminum alloy body and interior components, 1” wide Dyneema webbing, and an aluminum swivel and dual triple action auto-locking carabiners.

The durable Dyneema webbing is resistant to moisture, abrasions, UV light and chemicals and up to 15 times stronger than steel. Buckingham’s advanced braking system is designed for smooth consistent operation which will prevent “jerky” lock-ups.

Tieback model features a tieback style snap hook with 3600lb. rated gate, webbing and edge protection all designed to be looped around structures where standard aluminum carabiners simply will not work. All versions are rated to 350 lbs.
